COUNTRYSIDE

Starting from Szekelyudvarhely you can roam all Szeklerland in a circle of 100 km. The region of the city involves a lot of touristic attractions. Near the city in way to Sovata is Szejke Bath. Here lies Orban Balazs, to his tomb are guiding szekler gates, the last gate was his property. Continuing the way we get to the mother village of Tamasi Aron, Lupeni (Farkaslaka), where we can find his tomb too. Then comes Corund, Praid and Sovata. On the way to Miercurea Ciuc, turning off to left in Bradesti we can get to the Zetelaka lake. From Miercurea Ciuc traveling to Sfantu Gheorghe we arrive to one of the most beautiful places in Transylvania, the Saint Anne Lake. (83 km from Odorheiu Secuiesc). Also from Miercurea Ciuc going to Gheorgheni we can admire the Red Lake and the Bicaz-Pass (distance from Odorhei is about 200 km).
